Uterine fibroids and endometriosis affect 80% of black women worldwide, and are a significant cause of infertility, impacting up to 10% of women with fertility challenges. 4.3 million of these women are in Cameroon

Sexual Reproductive Health Initiative
Our initiative aims to research, educate, empower, and support women & girls facing these challenges through comprehensive support.
 
What We Offer
 
We conduct research on fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts and breast cancer to provide comprehensive SRH services at our Community Center
We support awareness campaigns and in communities and schools to promote healthy living, maternal health, early detection of fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and breast cancer.
We use storytelling and advocacy as platforms that amplify women & girls voices and reduce stigma associated with fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts and breast cancer.
Addiction & Mental Health Initiative
With approximately 7% of the population, 1.6 million people facing significant mental health challenges, and with postpartum depression affecting 1 in 7 women, our this initiative provides compassionate, accessible support where it's needed most.

What We Offer

Support groups and counseling at our community center for people experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
Youth-focused interventions, including substance abuse prevention and resilience-building programs in schools.

Our Menstrual Hygiene Education Initiative breaks taboos by providing accurate information, access to sanitary materials, and safe spaces, empowering girls to manage their health with dignity and stay in school.

What We Do

Support menstrual health education to girls in schools and communities.
Support innovative & cost effective approaches in the production of sanitary pads to reduce period-related absenteeism.
