In a significant move to strengthen community health, She’s STEM Foundation has set to empower WASHCOM committee members with the essential skills and knowledge needed for effective water treatment and management. The objective of this program is to enhance the capacity of these committees, ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of WASH interventions within their communities.
Through this activity, She’ STEM Foundation noted several positive outcomes, including:
- Increased Awareness: Participants developed a greater understanding of the importance of water treatment and its direct impact on public health.
- Enhanced Skills: Members acquired enhanced knowledge in water treatment techniques and technologies.
- Sustainable Solutions: They were also encouraged to identify and adopt sustainable and cost-effective water treatment solutions tailored to local needs.
- Strengthened Collaboration: The training fostered collaboration among water professionals, community leaders, and stakeholders, promoting a holistic approach to water management.
